Zara.Relaxed: African American full lace wigs yaki or relaxed texture wigs

Our African-American relaxed texture wigs are made from either Indian or Asian hair, texturized to mimic African-American hair that has been freshly treated with a high quality salon relaxer. The texture is sleek and straight, it moves and flows freely. The hair dries straight, you can choose to flat iron for a sleek look, but it is not necessary. For added versatility, you can roller set the hair, when wet, for a curly or wavy look.

African-American texture is also often referred to as "Yaki".

All of our wigs are made with Remy hair. Remy (or Remi) hair is the complete hair strand and has not been weakened by stripping. Remy hair is created by careful processing which leaves the cuticle in place. The result is stronger, superior hair. Still, this hair has undergone some processing (such as cleaning and dyeing), so it should also be treated gently. Remy hair is often referred to as "cuticle hair" because the cuticle is left intact. Hair that is stripped of the cuticle is often chemically treated to give the hair an artificial softness and shine, which wears down over time, causing tangling and a poor appearance. Remy hair does not have this problem and is the highest quality hair you can purchase.

Our Asian Remy Malaysian Texture has a thick, coarse strand and provides a beautiful texture for replicating the look of relaxed hair. Our ZaraLuxe African American texture is created by a special double process that most closely resembles relaxed African American hair. This process can be adjusted to create fine hair or coarse hair, to closely mimic your own hair texture.
