This amazing creation is made of Indian remy hair, textured with a coarse kink. The hair resembles what's most commonly called "tex-laxed" which is where a relaxer is applied, but the hair is not fully straightened. This leaves plenty of texture, but allows for full straightening with a flat iron. It also resembles natural hair that has been flat ironed or pressed with a pressing comb, it's has a little bit of kink, and a lot of body. Although the hair is kinky straight, is is as soft as a feather, it is not coarse, nor is it dry, despite the processing.
This is a great option for someone who is transitioning from relaxed hair to natural, who wants a textured look, but not a fully straight look. It's entirely believable as a texture, no one will ever guess you're wearing a wig. The density is medium-heavy, perfect for someone with a head full of thick, natural hair. The hair flat irons beautifully, we have taken a few photos with a small part of the hair flat ironed so you can see how it looks. At our workshop, we use a Sedu, you'll want a flat iron of similar quality (like a Chi), so that you don't need to flat iron each section repeatedly to get this beautiful straight look.
Make no mistake about it, if you choose to flat iron this wig, it will require work and it will take some time. But it's totally worth it. When shampooed, the wig will revert back to the kinky straight texture in the photos the hair does not coil when wet. What you see is what you get.
