Each bundle of hair is handpicked for your wig, this wig was made using hair from one donor. We are offering this wig at a great low price becuase the length is shorter. If Virgin Chinese Remy is for you, we will have much longer wigs available soon, ranging from 20-26" in length!
Silk top wigs are growing in popularity because the ventilation technique allows multi directional parting without worrying about visible knots. The silk top consists of a layer of lace, and silk fabric. When the hair is knotted, the knots are below the silk concealed between the layers, making them truly invisible, which is why this is also often referred to as hidden knots. This technique is very labor intensive, and silk top wigs are generally more expensive than regular wigs.
Silk top wigs aren't for everyone. At zarawigs.com we really try to give you the best information possible, to enable you to make an informed choice. The main drawback of silk top wigs is a visible difference at the edges of the silk top. In the photo gallery of this wig, we captured many different photographs to show you the difference, to enable you to make an informed decision. This particular wig is made of transparent lace, which means the silk top will not work on those with darker skin shades, as you can see from our photo of the wig on a darker mannequin. If your skin is medium brown or darker, you can now order your custom wig with a silk top, to ensure that the shade of the silk matches your skin shade, to make the area blend flawlessly with your complexion.
There is no other ventilation technique that creates a more flawless appearance than hidden knots on a silk top, you don't need to bleach the knots, you don't need to worry about any other techniques to make the knots invisible or less visible. Having said that, most of our customers prefer lace caps because they are skilled with their application technique and they can achieve the look they want without the added expense of invisible knots and a silk top. The choice is yours and we want you to make the best decision possible, considering your investment in a lace wig.
This wig is freestyle ventilated, which means the hair can be combed in any direction. This wig may appear with a center, or side part, when styled for photography, but the part is not permanent.

This is the standard way of measuring wig length. The measurement is taken from the crown to the tips of the hair. This measurement is always given when the hair is straight.
24-26 inches shown in photo
This measurement is given to allow you to determine how long the wig will be on your body. It is taken from the hairline to the tips of the hair, going over the heads
26-30 layered inches shown in photo
The length of a wig is measured differently than extension hair, a wig is measured from the crown to the tips of the hair, whereas extensions are the same length all over the head, whether it's the crown or the nape. To have a wig the same length as your extension hair, please add 4 inches. For example, a 16 inch weave equates to a 20 inch wig.
