A lot of people wonder why we call our wigs Asian Remy Malaysian Texture. When we first started making wigs, we were importing hair from India, washing and sorting it and shipping it to China. We were importing hair from Peru, washing and sorting it and shipping to China, we were sourcing hair from around the globe. Back then, a lot of companies were selling "Malaysian" hair at unreasonably low prices. We didn't have Malaysian hair then, so we sourced a wonderful grade of Southeast Asian hair that is a close approximation of the properties of Malaysian hair. When customers are looking for Malaysian hair, they are looking for hair that is thicker than Indian hair, but not as straight as Chinese, that has body and flows nicely. We decided to call ours "Malaysian texture" because we're always honest about the source of our hair, and we wanted to let our customers know that it is a good alternative for those looking for Malaysian hair. Our Asian Remy Malaysian Texture is from Southeast Asia, and it's really, really close to Malaysian hair, but at a much more affordable price.
