Beauty supply store lace front wigs are made (typically) with a stiffer material, called lace, and technically referred to as a 0.12 net. This material holds it shape well but is difficult to blend. Our lace is softer and blends easier, and also has a natural appearance when viewed, but does not hold shape firmly. […]
Sometimes we create wigs that are already cut and styled. Honestly, this is usually a nervous position for us, because a hair cut is so particular to style and taste. We do hope to offer more cut and styled wigs in the future, because many clients do not feel comfortable just trusting any stylist, or […]
Jewish style wigs are for a specific customer need, not really for a specific type of person. Many customers wear Jewish wigs because of the hair quality, texture and wig workmanship.
Typically, our Jewish wigs are either fully hand tied or hand tied silk top with machine wefts everywhere else. In the product description, you will be able to see the base construction and description.
For years, Jewish women’s needs have really led the wig industry in terms of quality of hair and workmanship. Customarily referred to as “Sheitels”, many Jewish women have followed the tradition of covering their hair upon engagement and/or marriage.
A lace wig is hand tied for multi-directional styling, while a U-Part wig is machine made using hair wefts (or commonly called tracks), similar to weaving hair.
In each product description, we advise how much hair is on the wig. Typically we stock U-Part wigs with 200-300 grams of hair, similar to two to three bundles/packs of hair extensions.
You can usea the included hardware to attach a U-Part wig. The wig is made with clips and combs on the interior, as well as adjustable wig straps.
Wig options really arent specific to ethnicity, they are particular to hair need. Thus, any client of any ethnicity can wear a U-Part wig if that is the right option for their hair needs.
