Can I wear a lace front or full lace wig in a high ponytail?

If there is lace or thin skin at the nape of the neck, yes you can wear a full lace wig in a high ponytail. If there are adjustable tabs at the nape of the neck, you can wear in a low ponytail or updo (some customers prefer these wigs so they do not have to use adhesive at the nape). The descriptions for all of our in-stock wigs specify if the wig can be worn in a high ponytail. If you order a custom lace wig, our standard option is that the wig can be worn in a high ponytail. As a default, most of our in stock lace wigs can be worn in a full ponytail.

Many, many customers do not have a need to wear their wigs in a high ponytal, and show the back of their neck, and opt for adjustable straps or wig clips. They often find it cumbersome to meddle with adhesive and tape at the nape of the unit. In addition, some customers have a hard time getting the adhesive to stay securely at the nape and opt for a thin skin at the back of the unit, or a poly strip on the interior of the lace front wig, at the nape, to provide better adhesion for tape and glue.
